ABB Busch-Jaeger Compensator 6596 (AG11978)

The ABB Busch-Jaeger Compensator 6596 is designed to prevent self-ignition of energy-saving or LED lamps in switches with orientation lighting. The device prevents afterglow of low-voltage halogen or LED lamps in the off state due to stray voltage or when controlled via a tip dimmer without a neutral connection. The compensator minimizes buzzing from electronic transformers and removes stray voltages on the control line in group control systems for shading control.
