Audio Mini Jack Interface Module - CJMCU-TRRS 3.5mm (OT3714)

Easily add an audio jack to your project with this breakout board. TRRS connectors are the audio-style connectors you see on some phones, MP3 players, and development boards. They are commonly used in MP3 players and DIY projects with microcontrollers such as Arduino. TRRS stands for "Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve" - an indication of how many black rings there are on the audio jack. So unlike a standard stereo connector, this connector actually has three conductors and a ground. Some devices use the extra conductor for a microphone (such as hands-free headsets) or for a video signal (such as in some MP3/MP4 players). This breakout board makes it easy to add a TRRS connection to your prototype or project by breaking out each conductor to a standard 0.1" spacing.
