Description
The main purpose of this module is to monitor the speed of the motor.
Widely used in motor speed detection, pulse counting, position limit, etc.
Can be used with a microcontroller such as an Arduino for motor speed detection, pulse counting, position limit, etc. Basically, any speedometer simply measures the speed at which an event occurs.
Typically this is done by counting the events for a period of time (integration interval) and then simply dividing the number of events by the time to get the speed.
This is an easy module to work with. Physically interrupt the visual path of the optical sensor with some sort of slotted wheel or similar mechanism (an optical sensor usually consists of a light emitting diode to provide illumination, and a phototransistor to sense the presence or absence of that illumination).
The optical sensor used here consists of an infrared light emitting diode and a phototransistor. This both prevents interference from stray external light sources and by matching the two components to each other for a specific radiation frequency, they are still immune to unwanted interference.
The DO output interface can be directly connected to an IO port of a microcontroller, if there is a block detection sensor, such as the speed of the motor encoder can detect.
DO modules can be connected to the relay, limit switch and other functions, it can also with the active buzzer module to compose an alarm.
Equipped with:
Optical coupling sensor, width 5mm;
Output status light:
When the output is high, the lights are off. When output is low level, the lights are on. (If covered, it will output high level; otherwise, it will output low level)Equipped with a fixed bolt hole, easy to install!Use the LM393 wide voltage comparatorSpecification:
