The ESP32-WROOM-32E is a powerful, generic Wi-Fi+BT+BLE MCU module suitable for various applications, from low-power sensor networks to intensive tasks such as music streaming, speech encoding, and MP3 decoding. Powered by the ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip, the module offers scalability and adaptability, with 2 independently controllable CPU cores and an adjustable CPU clock frequency from 80MHz to 240MHz.
In addition, you can choose to disable the CPU and use the low-power co-processor to continuously monitor peripherals. The ESP32 integrates a wide range of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, SD card interface, Ethernet, high-speed SPI, UART I2S and I2C.
With the integration of Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi, the ESP32-WROOM-32E is an all-round module with a long physical range and direct connection to the Internet via a Wi-Fi router. In addition, Bluetooth allows easy connection to phones and can indicate presence via low energy beacons.
The module is ideal for battery-powered projects and portable applications due to its low power consumption in sleep mode (less than 5µA). It supports data rate up to 150 Mbps and has an output power of 20 dBm at the antenna for optimal range.
